design
There is a lot that goes into designing a book. When companies like Kodak and My Publisher came out with book products, it made it possible for anyone and everyone to create their own book. This became a wonderful opportunity for people with tons of photos to actually do something with them. The issue, however, that many people are realizing is the limitations in design choices. There are subtle but significant elements to a professionally designed publication that are not present in something produced from a template. Most people have a hard time putting their finger on it, but all they can say is that it looks better. You might be able to do it yourself, but whether or not it looks good is an entirely different matter!
